On a sunny September Sunday 74 people, young and old, took part in a Sponsored Abseil from the top of the The Naze Tower, Walton-on-the-Naze. Abseiling down the 86ft tall Naze Tower they helped to raise funds for The British Red Cross, and the total so far is £8,000! Luckily for the all involved the weather was fine, if slightly breezy, and the staff of the Tower Tea Rooms laid on a barbecue for all the hungry spectators and participants.
