Hundreds turned out to see the Fairytale Street Parade complete with Horse Drawn Coach and Santa on his Sleigh, accompanied by lots of entertaining characters in bright and colourful costumes.

The parade worked its way through the high street and finished in the Millennium Square where

people gathered to watch the turning on of the Christmas lights by Walton’s Mayor.

Many of course were there to enjoy the late night shopping and festive treats laid on by Walton’s traders! Whilst children enjoyed a visit to Santa’s Grotto, or the Smile Puppets Show.
